The Texas Department of Public Safety can suspend or revoke your driver’s license for having to many traffic violations.
For example, a driver's license will automatically be suspended if an individual is convicted of:
4 or more moving traffic violations within a 12-month period, or
7 or more moving traffic violations within a 24-month period.
Please let us know if we can help you with your license suspension or you need an occupational license.
We can help you obtain your driving record to check the status of driver's license and check for tickets.
Simply paying the traffic ticket results in a conviction on your driving record. Additionally, if you have multiple moving violations your car insurance premiums are likely to increase. In some cases, the Texas Department of Public Safety will try to suspend your driver's license and charge you annual surcharges to keep your driving privileges. Fortunately, even if you are guilty or if you are not eligible for defensive driving, our traffic ticket lawyers may be able to keep moving violations off your driving record. Contact our attorneys now to discuss your options.
